Years of hoping and planning realised a dream! A historic day, the 25 march 2009, the first big load of alpacas arrived on the Domaine Fraser side! |
 | |
| Every Body lines up at Canadian Comfort Alpacas in St. Ann's, Ontario |
 |
|
| Then a big truck arrives | Leslie and Bob Comfort load the animals on the Truck |
 |
|
Everybody hops in
| Leslie sends us a lot of here good organic alpaca feed and a lot of alpaca breeding goodies |
 | |
| The big voyage begins! | Meanwhile in Québec, everything is ready but still empty |
 | |
| Finally the Truck arrives. Jürg can’t wait and jumps on the truck to show him the way | Wow, what a Truck! What a precious load! Sandra and Jürg memorise this historic Domaine Fraser moment |
 | |
| We look in... | ...They look out |
 |
|
| Then the doors opened and the first alpacas set food on Domaine Fraser soil | A little step for the alpacas a big step for us - Yes we did get sentimental! |
 | |
| Boys and girls had different stables | At first, the girl snuggled together for comfort… |
 | |
| Then they became curious… | Then they ate…
|
 | |
| And then they all saddled in and made them feel at home | Jürg is happy! |
 | |
| The next day there was a lot to look and learn. They have really a lot off critters on the Domaine Fraser Farm! | “Encounter of the third kind” - Horses, donkeys and mules |

| |
| Cows... | They really have a lot of dogs here, but they are all friendly |

| |
| Poultries with funny hairdo’s… | ...and the pigs. Boah, there are really scary!
|
 | |
| The girls are let running free for the first time on Domaine Fraser | And they run!
|
 | |
The two lamas, Maxi and Maggie May guard there Alpaca herd faithfully.
| We are thrilled about having the Alpacas in front of our house!
|
 |
The alpacas seem to enjoy the nice view we have here on Domaine Fraser. Yes what a great place to live!
